There is only one way forward.
Scoring the week
Another round of accountability!
My 12 Week Plan, scheduled to end on the 16th of October, has a singular goal: reach a turnover of 5000 EUR for Decode Estonian.
Currently, I’m sitting at €2,391.08
, out of which €4.09
was earned in Week 37.
The new income is from paid subscriptions.
The progress tracker is still here if you are curious about the details.
Week 37 has an okay execution score: 72.73%
I failed on two counts:
writing a new grammar article
writing another vocabulary post
Feelings
👆 the hole I dug for myself.
The hole is starting to feel like a hole 🙈
Two times already in a row I very much enjoy giving the workshops but am deadly tired afterward and don’t want to do anything after that.
I expect this to get better over time, improving like any other skill.
Outcome
⚙️ We had two participants in Sunday’s workshop who had advanced Estonian already, and for them, the workshop wasn’t that useful. One of them also mentioned that there are no courses for people who already have B1/B2 Estonian, helping them get over the last hump to C1.
✅ Face-to-face sales still seem to work the best for me, but given the amount of open spots left, I need to do better on that front.
❌ My idea for a new teaching aid - “a decoder” that maps all endings to their possible meanings - turned out to be too difficult to implement as well, given the sheer number of morphological endings (the incomplete list already has over 70+ entries).
