There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Scoring the week
Another round of accountability!
My 12 Week Plan, scheduled to end on the 16th of October, has a singular goal: reach a turnover of 5000 EUR for Decode Estonian.
Currently, I’m sitting at €3,660.41
, out of which €1,269.33
was earned in Week 38 and 39.
The new income is from receiving the money for all the tickets I sold in September 💪
The progress tracker is still here if you are curious about the details.
Week 38 and Week 39 had terrible execution scores, mostly because I was busy actually running workshops and had other things in my private life that occupied me a lot mentally and emotionally.
Feelings
When I saw this email I felt:
surprised – I had no idea that the workshops were bringing in this much,
exhilarated - this is the first time in my life that I’m making money on the scale of “you could theoretically live off this” using my own skills.
At this point, I feel like I can live a poor existence without needing a single client to sell software development services nor do I need an employer.
A small taste of freedom.
Outcome
⚙️ I’m still not quite happy with managing energy levels through the second half of the workshop - we often have to rush through the material.
✅ Giving workshops and seeing people get smarter in real time is still extremely motivating and fun. It is physically draining, but mentally the opposite.
❌ The next iteration of a teaching aid is taking shape in my head and as sketches in my notebook, but still not real.
